Moving our Mamas (MOMs) Labor Support Training

OBI is excited to host a free train-the-trainer labor support training class before the Spring Semiannual Meeting with Henry Ford Health System’s Patricia Klassa and Cheryl Larry-Osman.
During this course, nurses will demonstrate hands-on approaches to labor support techniques, discuss strategies for supporting women in labor, and define the role of maternity care providers in providing labor support during childbirth. Lunch will be provided from 12-1 p.m.
OBI Nurse Champions and unit labor support nurses are welcome to attend. Please share this information on your labor delivery units!
Please note: Attendance at this training does not count towards attendance at the Semiannual Meeting.
Training will be held in the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa Tower Ballroom.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Corewell Health Southeast Michigan and The Obstetrics Initiative.
